 Lollipop Farm Train\nEvery Saturday\, 10 AM - 2 PM\nJohn Gardiner Farm\nLo
llipop Farm\, on the corner of Jackson Avenue and Jericho Turnpike\, in Sy
osset closed in 1967\, and the Lollipop Farm Train was put into storage. O
ver the next 45 years\, it changed hands many times until the Greenlawn-Ce
nterport Historical Association (GCHA) decided to take on the huge task of
restoring it to its former glory.\nMany members of the GCHA\, some of who
m have vast experience restoring old vehicles\, worked endlessly prepping\
, painting\, welding\, preparing\, and laying track to get the Lollipop Tr
ain ready!\nPeople came to the Lollipop Farm in droves from all of Long Is
land\, New York City\, and Connecticut!\nIf you have a grandparent who gre
w up around here\, ask them\, they will remember so fondly - and now they
would like to visit and have you ride the train all over again!\n Children
who are too small to ride alone must ride with a parent or guardian. Ride
rs must remain seated without assistance\, be able to hold on\, and follow
  basic instructions.
